PS: Leonardo DiCaprio at the Oscars

Intro:

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most talented and blessed method actors. The first time he was presented as Oscar-Nominee, he was 19 years old and nominated for best supporting actor in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993). From then on, Leo DiCaprio has been nominated four times as a lead actor and one time as producer of The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), in which he stared as the Oscar nominated lead character. The Academy finally voted him to an Oscar winner in 2016 for The Revenant (2015). When you look at Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar-filmography, in which nomination case do you think he had the most Oscar-worthy performance? Please tell us your thoughts here.

Rules:

There is only little space for suggestions this time. But I'll lend you my ear. ;D

"stared" should be "starred".

Me, too. Ok, I'm not begrudged of the other nominees to have an Oscar for their performance. Specially McConaughey was great and I loved the performances of Ejiofor and Bale (yes, in this order). But it would have been time to give Leonardo DiCaprio the Oscar. Well, McConaughey was also not the wrong guy, to receive it. If DiCaprio wouldn't have get it for 'The Revenant', I would have taken the academy not longer as a serious institution. ;)

I think that even his first Oscar nomination should have been his first Oscar. But I'm very curious about how people think of it. And I really want all to decide on their free feelings about it. It would really be nice, if this one became a poll, because my wife and me are curious about that question for more than 20 years. And I think many other people want to know that, too. :D

I wonder, if I should wait for the moment, when is clear, if he gets nominated or not for 2020's Oscars. I would put him to the list instantly! ;D

Just prepaired the list for the 2020s Oscars:
Put in the option of Rick Dalton. The nominees will be revealed next monday.

Completed option #6 (Rick Dalton, 'Once upon a Time in Hollywood'):
The other nominees are added now.
I think this one should become a poll at the oscar week.
(if got launched short before the Oscar-night, the winner of 2020 can be completed afterwards)

Hi, Dibyayan. :D
I didn't see that coming. :( It was before the time I joined the board as user and when I entered the new thread button, your suggestion didn't appear. I'm very sorry for that. :(

Maybe you allow me to do me another idea with same options?

I changed the idea to:
When you look at Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar-filmography, which of his performances had the hardest compeptitors?

Now the idea changed completely.

I changed
"... Oscar nominated lead actor ..." to
"Oscar winning lead actor ... "
(The Revenant)
Inserted some colons in the options descriptions.
