Thank you Dan, I'm sorry about that. As you know, I usually write IMDb right. I've let the title gone through the capitalization tool, you linked me. It's a case of auto correction. ;) It's good you saw it. Thank you. :)

Breumaster,

Thank you for updating the title of your list. I updated the title of this thread accordingly.

The capitalization tool works fine most of the time. Unfortunately, it does not handle acronyms or initialisms properly.

Phenomenal and sheer brilliance in every aspect that cannot be matched by modern cinema, Coppola's 'The Godfather' is cinematic perfection in every aspect of filmmaking. A masterpiece.

We still need a candidate for #3, which didn't fit!
Please give me another candidate. Has to be after 1970.

your option still has a big x at #3. The movie you mentioned was from the 60s. Could you please give me a new candidate for it? Greetz. ;) Else there will be a big X or I'll put in 'My Little Pony'. ;D

It is such a sweet story that really left an impression in terms of me  appreciating films. I would have never branched out and tried to discover amazing films from the past or from different countries without watching this; I may never had the desire to visit this wonderful website either.

There is much talk but little being said, much hustle-bustle but so much loneliness. But amid the crowds streaming past quickly, you may find a deaf man amusing himself in slow-motion.

I really like that you show that 'The Godfather - Part II' is better than the first part. I think so, too. It's for me like 'Star Wars'. For me, Episode 5 was the best. :)

5. Secret Life of Walter Mitty (newer one, of course)

NIA for 'Big Bad' there are many movies. I took the most recent. It would be better to link it for such lists or at least give a date to avoid confusion. Please check, if these are the right movies, I linked. Thank you for suggesting. :D

Yep, you got all the right ones!  Thanks!
Quote:
It's an absolutely exhilarating adventure with all the right ingredients!  The makers were imaginative, but respected the wonderful source material by C.S. Lewis.  And Liam Neeson was simply made to be Aslan.

You may notice that the 70s are my favorite decade in terms of movies, 5 of my 10 films are from the 70s.

Let me think of something to say about Taxi Driver that doesn't sound silly or pretentious haha.

You don't have to, if you don't want to. It would make your suggestion more complete. But anyway. If you want something to quote about it later, you can do later. But when it's online, I don't want to ask for 10 repushes or something like that. Thank you for giving me your example for a top 10 list. :D

I though for my own list like many movies you have on your list, specially 'City of God'. It's a masterpiece! Most of the others were on my mind, too! ;D

About Taxi Driver:
Taxi Driver is not only my favorite movie, it is also the movie that has affected me the most, it gave me a state of alienation like no movie, no book, no song has done it, I fell in love with the underground world through which Travis travels through of his yellow taxi in a kind of descent into madness while the smoke escapes through the vents of the streets, and the cab splashes through water from hydrants--a Stygian passage.
