Poll Suggestion: Painful ET Extra-Terrestrial Knockoffs

Which of the following earnest E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) clones* is/was the most painful to watch?

LIST:  https://www.imdb.com/list/ls069852183/
POLL:

*Not including satires or parodies.

Due diligence for the contents of the list, which is two years old. I cannot remember/accidentally deleted the original source of some of the movies (especially including The Iron Giant).

Thank you for "[unhiding] this [potentially stinky extraterrestrial] flower."

Added to the list.

From what I gather from that review, it doesn't really follow the ET formula (most of the movies on the list follow) of kid finds alien. Hides alien from family. The government wants the alien. A conflict then resolution.

Is it true that the alien is only in the last part of the final act of the film?

I'll still add it to the list. Also, sent in a request to rifftrax for them to possible riff it as well.

I saw it as a kid and it was a dissapointment, they promised a superpowerful alien stopping the bad guys, but he is only watching instead of saving her niece. It doesn't really follow the ET formula since only the lead character is aware of his existence until the end. But when you said ET I remembered him and found him physically similar.

Tsar,

I wonder what Julia, Jacob, and Nathan think of these films.

I tweeted the fellows at Drawfee to see if they'd be interested in creating their own ET ocs for their YouTube channel. Thanks for the inspiration.

Isn't "Iron Giant" regarded as a great film? I'm surprised by its inclusion.

The initial components list wasn't fully mine (which I posted the disclaimer that I forgot its initial source). I'm the one who placed the hyperbolic painful question. I absolutely adore The Iron Giant. I kept it because I was surprised that it actually follows the ET trope formula stated. I would have cited my source if it wasn't forgotten over the years of this idea gathering dust on my IMDb List page.

Felt it would lend an interesting dynamic if I kept it on. I'm kind of surprised/not surprised how many votes it's getting. Wondering whether the voters are voting on their subjective view of the film (as bad) or are they ignoring the question and voting for their favorite (the usual poll question rigamarole/paradox).

This is why I made this suggestion, but no-one wants to make it go live.
