Spartacus
(1960) ends with the mass crucifixion of Spartacus and his followers. I could not find any suitable images.
Dan: I asked myself why you didn't. So I did, but thought on you, because I noticed that 'Changeling' is a movie you did admire in the past. :D And it is good for sure. The hanging scene was bone-chilling somehow. Eastwood portrayed Northcott as a really strange guy.
"Nothing is strange with you" probably contains more information regarding Northcott. It is a self-published book and could have benefited from having an editor. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079KGVM32
I encouraged the author, James Jeffrey Paul, to self-publish when he received multiple rejections from publishers. Mr. Paul gave me an autographed copy as a result. Sadly, Mr. Paul died two years ago.
Thank you Dan. I'm curious now about the real story. Clint Eastwood made a very strong movie. It has so strong dramatic moments. But I think his best was 'Million Dollar Baby', closely followed by 'Gran Torino'. When I look at Scorsese, he is a brilliant director. But Eastwood got more humanity in his pictures. I like how they touch me.
Dan: I the book "The Road Out Of Hell" came today. I will start reading it tomorrow, but it might take some time for me to understand the text. There was only an english version. I'm curious to see how good Eastwood did, but I expect he did best! ;)

Eastwood filmed the J. Michael Straczynski screen play with only one minor change, one related to how refrigerators worked at the time of the story. From everything I've read about the case, the Northcott's execution scene is fairly accurate; although Eastwood decided not to show the full 12 minutes that Northcott strangled to death.
