Poll Suggestion: IMDb Poll Boards Most Favorite Short Movie Making

Intro:

Short movies are a strict discipline. If they fail to catch the attention of the audience, no one will remember them. No matter if they are cartoons or real-live movies. The IMDb Poll Board users show their most beloved short movie-makers by examples.

From which of these stories do you want to see more?

Tell us here.

Suggestion:

It should be a poll about a kind of short movies you love. They can be from one maker of a kind of short movies you especially like or a special kind of short movies. I started the list with a short movie creator which I noticed about 2 or 3 years ago and couldn't ignore since then. No fences. Give me your kind of short movies, please.

List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls565708147/

Poll: TBD

@mariojacobs

Thank you for having interest in the subject. I know that it is a very special issue. And I guess my intro is not good enough. Here is a link about what I thought of:

In my case it's more like animated short movies, especially from Joost Lieuwma, which I do watch every times he has new short movies online. But it sure can also be short movies from the stooges, but I would prefer newer ones, which still stand in a competition to other short movies. When you look at the option I made up, What would your option look like? I know that every year there are competitions in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. Gosh - this is really very special. I wonder how many people would give me options.

P.S.: Other users may choose Disney-shortfilms or Stan and Ollie's ... whatever. I guess I'll have to take anything and won't be over-runned with suggestions.

Mario, I know you can understand German language so I have a special nice one for you. It wan an Oscar in 1994 as "Best Short Film, Live Action":

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108056/

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108056/awards/?ref_=tt_awd

You can watch it here:

It was made a little time after the incidents in Rostock-Lichtenhagen, which happened in the early 1990s. It isn't really necessary to understand German, because it makes the situation clear by gestures, face-expressions and how the old woman talks - full of contempt and repudiation.
