Poll Suggestion: Director You'd Choose to Document Your Life Story
Whether or not you've accomplished things that would warrant the creation of a documentary after your passing, imagine that you have. IMDB Poll Board members were asked which director they would entrust with the daunting task of creating a posthumous documentary about their life. They were asked to choose someone (alive or not) with a directing style that reflects their personality, whom they believe could handle the topic of a deceased person's life in a sensitive and respectful manner, without compromising accuracy or intrigue.
Which of the following directors would you trust to make a posthumous documentary of your life story?
Under each option you will find a brief overview of their work and personal or movie quote(s) that illustrate their philosophy towards life, death and/or film-making.
https://www.imdb.com/list/ls028138647/
For this poll to work I need your suggestions (2 max) along with a quote or two either from the director him/herself or from one of their movies that would give a sense of how they might go about handling this type of movie (look at my david cronenberg description for an example). If there are any specific movies that you think are relevant for me to include in the space where I put examples of their past work, let me know.
I'm gonna fill in my Ridley Scott one later, I'm currently procrastinating :)

As for subject, it's a tough one for me: currently 11+ years of making my first feature film already provide an interesting subject for documentary but I will either make one myself after I will finally finish that monstrosity or delegate some of the creative decisions to close friends and collaborators on that matter.

Your list isn't available. Is this suggestion still in play?
I'll figure my nomination soon enough.
