Poll Suggest: Pride Month: Proudest LGBTQ Film Since 2016?

*This is still under construction and very open to suggestions.*

https://www.imdb.com/list/ls026429829/

Every year since 2014, I have created a poll for Pride Week or Pride Month (June in most countries that celebrate Pride and for a whole month). Last year I did two lists, both focused on TV, so this year I think I will center on films but I will need to go back over the other years' movie-centric Pride polls so I can do something fresh this year. Therefore, this poll is still very much under construction: I might even change the title and question as it's now reflected in the title, and I will differently add more films, some I just haven't added yet and others that perhaps you'll suggest!

For now, though, I'd appreciate any feedback. Thank you. :)

The poll from 2016 was "Who's Proudest?" It was a character-list that has not been recast but will be and maybe in time for this year's Pride Month, as well.

Thank you, so much. Unless a new poll author wants to complete a very similar poll, I will complete this one and add suggestions, including some, if not all, of yours. :)

Added all that had at least a 6.5 rating and 1,000 votes or more, which was at least half. Thanks, again!

I am not sure if it qualifies as a "LGBTQ film" or if it is "proud", but The Ornithologist features various homosexual encounters and relationships and its director, João Pedro Rodrigues, has been described as a "gay auteur".

It used to be LGBT, now what does the Q stand for... I don't mean the word, I know the word, but what nuance does that bring exactly?

Pride Month: Proudest LGBTQ Film?

>> Proudest LGBTQ Film?

>> Proudest LGBTQ Film of 2017?

A colon (:) and then a question mark in the end doesn't really look great.

>> Pride Month: Proudest LGBTQ Film

>> Pride Month: Proudest LGBTQ Film of 2017

The "of 2017" is a really good idea and it certainly helps the title but it would leave out some good films, like 'Moonlight." I'm keeping it in mind, though, Thank you, Dibby.

Thank you! I was thinking about abandoning this poll because there was a new author doing a poll about 2010s LGBT films and I just updated a recast, but now that I've gotten so many good suggestions, I'm thinking that I'lll finish it -- unless the new poll author wants these suggestions instead. (I don't want to take a poll away from a new author.)

I added each suggestion that had at least a 6.5 rating and 1,000 votes, which included some of yours. Mucho gracias.
