Poll Sug: Favorite TV series set in Hawaii

I was looking at videos for the old TV series "Honey West" (not set in Hawaii) when I came across videos for the old TV series "Hawaiian Eye" and I remembered that "Magnum P.I." and "Hawaii Five-O" were not the first crime and detective shows set in Hawaii. I had remembered seeing reruns of "Hawaiian Eye" and they were pretty good. Well let's go beyond the Crime and the detective genre. What television show, of any genre, that is set in Hawaii, is your favorite?
The list is at http://www.imdb.com/list/ls064467068/...
Aloha

original idea...very cool...

and like you, i thought 'hawaiian eye' was pretty good too...that and the original 'hawaii five-o' were both staples in my viewing while i was growing up...but my vote will go with 'hawaiian eye'...

Which one? Both series are listed because they are different enough to be listed as two series.

hey dgranger...just a thought...maybe you could list the new hawaii five-o simply as 'the new hawaii five-o' so there won't be any confusion...

still a cool poll...

I would if I could. But this is a title poll. So I had added it as a comment. I also added some more titles as I was searching Timothy Busfield's "The Bryds Of Paradisr" series. I could remember his name or the name of the show. But I still remember the show and images from it. So I looked through The IMDb's list of shows with the keyword Hawaii. And still didn't find it. It wasn't till I had remembered he was also in "ThirtySomeThing" that I found him and his Hawaiian show, "The Byrds Of Paradise". It is funny how things work out.

LOST was filmed there, not set there.

I don't see how these link/lists prove an episode was actually set in Hawaii.

They are saying the flashbacks within those episodes were set in Hawaii . Not the whole episode itself.

You don't have to have the stipulation of four or more seasons as long as it was series with more than one show (preferably 30 which was the length of one season before the TV stations started switching over to half seasons). If you can find a quality show that lasted for one season that you had liked, please feel free to mention it. That is why I searched for "The Byrds of Paradise" (TBOP). It was a good quality family show with no violence, sex, or drugs and wasn't a comedy. It was all about a recently widowed father trying to raise his children in Hawaii. It just couldn't find an audience in the day it was ran like the dramas "The Waltons", "Little House On The Pairie", "Family", "Eight Is Enough", "The Courtship of Eddie's Father", and "Family" did in their days. Today, nine out ten shows that show a family are comedies. Or a crime/detective drama (like "Castle" and "Blue Bloods" are). It is like as rbrown109 said in his user review of TBOP, "I guess to sum it up, is Americans don't want wholesome... The days of the Waltons are OVER!!! " Shows like "Parenthood" are the extremely rare exception. That is a sad commentary on our times when a show about a family most likely has to be a comedy and most likely, a disfunctional family too, in order for it to air today.
Yours are going to be added and eventually be put in chronological order too.
