Poll in Construction: Need Suggestions - Supporting Performances Before the Oscars

Hi,

I wanted to dedicate a poll to all the supporting performances that didn't get an Oscar nomination because the category didn't exist yet, which means every Oscar-worthy performance between 1928 and 1935 included.

Three suggestions per user, for a start. Thanks for your help.

My nominees:

Louis Wolheim in All Quiet on the Western Front
Warner Baxter in 42nd Street
Elsa Lanchester in Bride of Frankenstein

@brijesh Characters who don't drive the story like the protagonists but have an impact or an  influence on their journey. Villains, love interests or sidekicks who steal the show all throughout the film no matter how limited their screentime it.
