Just a thought, I think there are enough films to make this a movie only poll and cull some of the lesser known titles.

I thought so too ... until... well let’s start this way... I knew the first six and “I Know My First Name Is Steven”, off of the top of my head and that the title of the list is a shortened rhyming version of “The Name Of The Game”. (Yeah, I still remember that show, and Robert Stack starring it more than his tv show, “The Untouchables”.) I was thinking of doing what you said. But as I did a search, I quickly can to some titles I didn’t know of and with low vote totals - and a lot of titles with the word “Codename” in them - which jogged my memory for “Codename: Kids Next Door”. In fact several entries made me bang my hand against my head for not remembering them because I did remember them after I saw their names on the list : “My Name is Earl” and the Trinity movies. Well anyway, their was just too many with low vote totals while there was many memorable tv shows with higher and decent number of votes that they can hold their own against the movies.
And you are viewing this list in list order, after I culled some of the lower vote total entires off, and added some more higher ones on, the last two entries on the list made me bang my head and say “Doh, How could I have missed THOSE!!!”I mean “He Named Me Malala” and “A Boy Named Charlie Brown”! And I was shock that such an American classic had only 3,706 votes. (It has 3,707 votes now and Malala has one more too.)

My thought is the list should the fifteen most popular titles plus dgranger exemptions for  Malala (2015), Charlie Brown (1969) and 0-2 more.

I agree, I always try to make a few spots (2-4) for deserving classics (ie  Malala (2015) and Charlie Brown (1969)), even if they don't have the votes. But, I think there are too many items on this list that are not viable options, I think the list is weighed down to some degree. I did a search by popularity A Boy Named Charlie Brown (1969) pegs around the 20,000th to 40,000th most popular title on IMDb for the past quarter century with a dozen spikes about that when it aired. That said, just because it isn't actively searched today, doesn't mean it isn't fondly remembered. The reality is the vast majority of people on this site are international or weren't born in 1969, so they don't have those same associations. To me the cut-off is at the fifteenth most popular title on your list, My Name Is Bruce (2007) which pegs around the 1,000th to 10,000th most popular title on IMDb for the past decade with a half dozen spikes above that between 2007-2009. It seems counter-productive to make the list twice as long it needs to be, so a dozen or so one person can vote for a title 99.9% wouldn't consider.

Hey, i’m Always up for advice, and did what you said, but I made one more exception. I had dumped the Scooby pup and kept “A Guy Named Joe” . You’re probably right it wouldn’t get votes. But honestly, I don’t remember a show about Scooby-doo as a puppy. I remember Scrappy-doo but not Scooby-doo as a puppy. Besides, “A Guy Named Joe” is one of Spensor Tracy’s better films, not the best but not the worst.

I agree 100% in keeping 'A Guy Named Joe'. I like 'Always' a lot, but I am huge Spencer Tracy fan and like the original almost as much. Plus, it has been spiking the past month and is now a Top 7000 movie as of today.

Added, sorry. I didn’t see the post until now. Not only “Me Bad”, “Me Stupid” too. Or “Me Stoopid” - I always liked how Alice Cooper had deliberately used that mid-spelling for the title of one his albums, “Hey Stoopid”.
