Hi otter,

If you'd like this to go live, it probably has a better chance if you make the edit that Jess suggested  (about 'Rocketman' in the intro) and add a few of the big names others have suggested: If you have reasonable options, a poll like this should go to 35. Stopping before 35, when there are viable options that could be added, replaces voters' choices with yours. If you think 32 or 35 is too long, you could do a "part one" and "part two."

Kurt Cobain ranks third in the poll and I tried to find some actor who could interpret it and the truth is that I can not get anyone.

If it's about "whose life would make an interesting movie" rather than "who I like most"... then Keith Moon, or Bob Dylan (who was the subject of at least two movies already, AFAIK). Probably David Bowie too.

You couldn't pay me to watch a movie about Bono, a pseudo-intellectual who tried too hard to come off as the thinker, the ideologist of the rock scene, but failed miserably. I admit that the pre-1990 Bono was a musician, but after that, he lost it.

A biopic about Ozzy (and Black Sabbath) or Rob Halford (and Judas Priest) could also be interesting, since they come from working class families, and actually had stories to tell about their early days. No actor can imitate the great Halford's singing, though, they'd have to use his original recordings.

But if I had to pick only one from the list... Prince.

RIP Neil Peart.
