Phew, it took me 40 minutes to update the list, talk about working!

I think that the issues of Mexicans and social networks are the most impressive for me.

2019 is definitely trying to outstage 2016 in terms of celebrity deaths... Which is rather unfortunate. :(

Great poll! The last description (with Trump picture) made me laugh. 

Maybe 'the decade that Disney took over' based on the purchase of huge franchises, the launch of its own streaming service, etc.? I had the term Disneyfication in mind, but apparently it already exists and means something slightly different.

Jessica and ruby, you're always the ones noticing typos and suggesting changes, so I guess this poll needs a little push from you :)

Typos:
#2: speak up publicly about the abuse they were victim of

#20: names like Cuarón, Iñárritu and del Toro became undeniable guarantees of cinematic excellence and creativity... 

This is so good, ElM, which is no surprise, of cours, oh  poll-master. : ) Btw, just using the word "Him" cracks me up. There are so many good ones in this list so I'll have to continue deliberating.

Hard to believe that this decade is coming to an end; it seems like yesterday that we were saying hello to 2010, and here we are, saying goodbye to 2019. Yes, the 2010s are over, but not over yet are the series of trends they left to us, cultural phenomena, events that made a singular difference on the field of entertainment. Let's call them 'era-defining events' for lack of a better word.
