Feedback requested: If I find other examples like 'It's a Wonderful Life,' do movies like that fit? (If I can't find similar examples, I'm assuming that it would seem strange among scary, odd, or disturbing scenes.)

- a wooden latrine, as in Schindler's List
- a tequila worm (not sure if "ordinary") as in Poltergeist II: The Other Side
- a woodlouse, as in The Food of the Gods
- a toilet bowl/commode, as in Look Who's Talking
- a tiled subway station, as in The Wiz
- a 1959 GMC Panel (not sure if "ordinary"), as in Bereavement
- a 1959 Cadillac Ambulance (not sure if "ordinary"), as in Ghostbusters
I'd give a general honorable mention to any object featured in Maximum Overdrive (or in adaptations of certain other novels by Stephen King) or in Final Destination.0
