Live Poll: Mystery, Suspense, and Detective Mystery Parodies.

On the list page at http://www.imdb.com/list/ls021902860/
Poll: http://www.imdb.com/poll/Qfcf0rsvrmI/

“The word “Parody” means a humorous exaggerated imitation or ode to a write, artist, person, or genre. These are comedies that parody mysteries, suspense (with a mystery or detective story in it aka, you know who the killer is before the detective does) and detective mysteries. Also by the word “mystery”, ghost stories too are included since some of the classic ghost had a mystery story that needed to be figured out in them, like the serious stories “The Turn Of The Screw”, and “The Uninvited” (1944) and “The Uninvited” (2009). (Two different ghost stories with the same title). Which of these mystery, detective, and suspense parodies / comedies is the best? Fallow funny clues here to discuss it. P.s. since three of the entries are based on the same play and I wanted the people to know that they were the same story, included all the “based on” bylines here. Why single just three and exclude the other? Besides, it promotes reading too if people are interested in reading the source material.”
BTW, the word “Parodying”, with a “Y”, is surprisingly spelled right!

Not sure if all of these fall under your definition:
Austin Powers
Hot Fuzz
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother
Casino Royale (1967)
The Naked Gun
Johnny English
Wrongfully Accused
Loaded Weapon 1
Spy Hard

Some are added. I’m not looking for spy parodies. I’m looking for parodies and comedies featuring a mystery, a crime, suspense and a detective. And yes, some ghost stories have that. That is why I had mentioned “The Uninvited” (1944) and why “The Ghost Breakers” is on the list.

Can you please remove the period in the title?

Also, you have some typos:

"exaggerated imitation or ode to a writer, artist, person, or genre."

"Also by the word “mystery”, ghost stories too are included since some of the classic stories..."

"P.s. since three of the entries are based on the same play and I wanted the people to know that,..."

I would also put a space between the text and the poll question, to make it more visible.

Done. I’m surprise you didn’t correct “P.s. since ...” . The proper format is “P.S. Since ...”.

'Good poll. I'm still deliberating in terms of voting.

I noticed a typo:

Why single just three films and exclude all the others?

I'm thinking you mean:

Why single out just three films and exclude all the others?
