Semi-retired, I guess: it is not uncommon for actors to go out of retirement to appear in a few more movies or series. In fact there were quite a few cases on "Twin Peaks".

Since the ages are mentioned already, is it necessary to have a 'decreasing' order, nothing against Norman Lloyd, but I think the list should (not "should" in the imperative sense but in the eventuality of it getting on the homepage or simply to give their credit to the most iconic stars) start with the most legendary screen figures:

Kirk Douglas (AFI & Golden Age Legend) - Sidney Poitier (AFI & Golden Age Legend) - Olivia de Havilland (Golden Age Legend) - Betty White (TV Legend) - Mel Brook (Comedy Legend - EGOT Winner)
