A lot of character actors are underrated and yet a ton of A-list movies would have never been as great without them. They're like a glue that keeps the cast together.  

I have an enormous alphabetical FYC list (which is still as far from being full as it could be) and every single one of them are among my favorite actors. You probably have seen each of those actors at least a few times in movies of all genres and levels, despite their lead roles are very much scarce.

It's pretty much impossible for me to choose just one... But probably Brion James. He was probably one of the first "this guy" actors I've ever noticed back in my early childhood. He pretty much made me understand the improtance of character actors.

Some of my favorites are taken already, so I'll go with internationally obscure actor Zlatko Burić. His supporting roles in only a couple of Danish movies secure him a place among the performers most impersonated and cherished by my movie buddies and me.
