Jessica,

For your consideration:
https://www.amazon.com/Snowflakes-Are-Dancing-Tomita/dp/B00000E68K
Snowflakes Are Dancing
Isao Tomita

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowflakes_Are_Dancing

Snowflakes Are Dancing is the second studio album by Japanese musician Isao Tomita, recorded in 1973–1974 and first released by RCA Records as a Quadradisc in April 1974.[2] The album consists entirely of Tomita's arrangements of Claude Debussy's "tone paintings", performed by Tomita on a Moog synthesizer and a Mellotron. It entered the top 50 charts in the United States, where it was nominated for four Grammy Awards in 1975, including best classical album of the year, and it was NARM's best-selling classical album of the year.[2][3] In Canada, it reached #57 in the RPM Magazine Top Albums chart. Jessica,

Does it have to be a song album or Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (OST) are also acceptable?

Sure, if your all time favorite album is a soundtrack album, I'll include it.

Yes. I more into instrumental soundtracks than vocal songs.

My all-time favorite is The Godfather (1972) soundtrack by Nino Rota.

Edit: Actually, my all-time favorite is The Godfather trilogy album but I couldn't find the cover of that album on IMDb.

Yikes, I don't know if I can choose just one. Sooo difficult. I did a list of ten once and that was excruciating but I guess I'll just go with Life's Rich Pageant by R.E.M.

I'm mulling this over. But I feel if I jump in with an immediate first thought nomination (as I have no idea how to mentally pull up decades worth of albums experienced), I'd be a neglectful parent and feel so guilty and misguided in my choice as others will obviously be remembered soon after posting my choice.

The other can of worms revolves around getting a decent album cover or representation of one for the list.

Not my nomination but here's an arbitrary list of my potential farmland of albums.
Fleetwood Mac, Rumours
Punch Brothers, Punch (this might ultimately be my choice)
New Pornographers, Challengers
Steeley Dan, Aja
Bruce HornsbyBride of the Noisemakers (HA! A double live album!)
ABC, How to Be a ... Zillionaire!
Neko Case, Middle Cyclone
Metric, Fantasies
Diana Krall, When I Look Into Your Eyes
Jenny Lewis, The Voyager
Death Cab for Cutie, Narrow Stairs
Rickie Lee Jones, The Evening of My Best Day or Pirates
Edgar Meyer, Mark O'Connor, and Yo-Yo Ma, Appalachia Waltz
Aimee Mann, Magnolia soundtrack or Lost in Space or @#%&*! Smilers or Mental Illness
Wynton Marsalis, Standard Time, Vol. 2: Intimacy Calling

I'll come back with more albums... or a choice. This is painful. Sophie had an easier choice.

That's a nice poll idea. I guess mine would be
Soulmatic from Purple Disco Machine. But I also like so many other, I can't really decide. That's unfair! How about our favorite 10 Albums. that would be very more easier to me. - OK -
Soulmatic from Purple Disco Machine.

"How can I do that?"
You can't just upload it to nowhere. You cannot upload images to a person or band's IMDb page. Only they can do that (with the paying privilege of IMDb Pro). Unless you have a related documentary title that the band is featured in. A documentary about the band that covers the time of the album, that's the best bet. Kind of ironic considering you don't seem to like documentaries.

Ultimately, you need a title that the album image is associated with. I assumed you made image polls before and were aware of the limitations of said poll. I suspect if you force the upload to any random page, the admins will reject the contribution.

I'm not so safe contributing things like this, I could learn, sure.
But there is a strict copyright law in Germany, so I'm always a
little stressed about using things like covers, etc. That's the
work of an artist, too. Thank you for putting it into the database. :D

Yay! Specially the album "Flag" is a very decent honorable mention. I always try to get real 80's albums, not re-masters. Because the "Loudness Wars" damaged many highly acclaimed music art. But it started at the end of the 80's. So there are some albums around to catch by second hand, which might sound better than later releases. I got an original 80's "Flag" album.

Re-masters are not always bad. In 2009, a Beatles loving sound ingeneer made a remaster of the complete works of the Beatles, which were checked by aproven Hifi-magazines. They all attested the best treatment on the old tapes. If you want the best of the Beatles, look for a 2009 release. :D
