Cool Hand Luke (1967)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061512/reference
A laid back Southern man is sentenced to two years in a rural prison, but refuses to conform.
Paul Newman ... Luke
Strother Martin ... Captain

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061512/quotes
Captain: What we've got here is... failure to communicate.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061512/trivia
When the famous line "What we've got here is a failure to communicate"
is originally spoken by the Captain (Strother Martin), he omits the "a";
but when Luke (Paul Newman) repeats the line at the end while in the church,
he says "a failure to communicate."
Thus, the line can be quoted correctly with or without the "a".

The line "What we've got here is failure to communicate"
was voted as the number eleven movie quote by the American Film Institute.

Please add a link back to this thread.

My pick:
"The future's not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves." from Terminator 2: Judgment Day

My favorite quote is a dialogue, from The Secret of Santa Vittoria (1969), though it may be too long to include here:

Babbaluche: (Under heavy rain) Exchange the prayers for the sun, Padre.
Priest: There are no prayers for sun. People always pray for rain.
Babbaluche: When Noah was in the ark, people prayed for rain?
Priest: That was before organised religion.
Babbaluche: Sure, all they had was God, the poor bastards.

other favorites:

1 - I'm having an old friend for dinner. (from The Silence of the Lambs (1991) )

2 - Boards don't hit back. (Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon (1973) )

3 - If I hadn't been very rich, I could've been a really great man. (Citizen Kane (1941), perhaps the most quote-rich film ever)

4 - Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock. (from The Third Man (1949) )

Also:

5- Customs official: Anything to declare?
Avi: Yeah. Don't go to England. (from Snatch (2000)

6 - Major Race: Is that your wife?
Lt. Col. Hyde: Yes.
Major Race: Is she dead?
Lt. Col. Hyde: No, no. I regret to say the bitch is still going strong. (from The League of Gentlemen (1960) )

7 - Bear Claw: Was it worth all the trouble?
Jeremiah Johnson: What trouble? (From Jeremiah Johnson (1972), this may be the best quote of them all, but you really need to see the whole movie to appreciate it)

8 - You slut. (from Tootsie (1982) )

9 - Your mother sucks *** in hell. (From The Exorcist (1973) I'd really like to be there to witness audiences seeing that scene)

10 - (After just meeting in prison) Jesus Ramirez: They accused me of robbing several banks. But, no way! I was drunk and all; but, I'm positive I only robbed one bank. How about you?
Skip Donahue: Oh, my friend and I were doing this song and dance act...
Jesus Ramirez: Oh, must have been pretty bad. (from Stir Crazy (1980) )

and

11 - They call me Mister Tibbs! (from In The Heat of The Night (1967) )

12- What would you like, Charlie?
-Everything. (from The Italian Job (1969) )

13 - Deserve's got nothing to do with it. (from Unforgiven (1992) )

Sorry for overdoing it, but I can't stop when it comes to quotes.

No, it is not a list of dialogues or monologues, just quotes.

I have added your first two options, if you want to change them I will.

I have so many and I couldn't decide but I've got them narrowed down to three. Please feel free to choose one.

The Florida Project:
"You know why this is my favorite tree? 'Cause it's tipped over, and it's still growing."

Henry & June:
I've done the vilest things -- the foulest things -- but I've done them... superbly.

(I'm probably leaning most toward this one, below, right now.)
To Kill a Mockingbird:
"I was to think of these days many times. Of Jem, and Dill, and Boo Radley, and Tom Robinson, and Atticus. He would be in Jem's room all night, and he would be there when Jem waked up in the morning."

Dracko, if you are adding a second quote, here is mine:
