I wasn't sure what the "penalty fee" option was about. If it's about rules during the pandemic, it could be clarified:

Back in January I attended a press event from Brand USA to report on the touristic offers in 2020 in the United States for my website, Viajeros en Ruta

At the end of the event there was a trivia with questions about the United States and among the over 50 reporters at the place, I got first place. My award was a free flight to visit any place in the USA this year.

It was a really great opportunity, and I was planning a trip to Wyoming to visit Yellowstone Park and beighboring communities, then, the virus stroke, and plans went on hold.

Until October, there was a chance for the trip to be moved to 2021, but unfortunately, the sponsor airline refused last month to allow an extension of my ticket for next year since they are already flying.

Since I can't put my health and my family health in risk, I had to forget about the trip, so that was the biggest blow the Pandemic has given me so far. 

'Good poll (!) and timely, unfortunately. Lack of social contact or losing someone will get my vote. 

May I suggest a few small edits?
