Live Poll: Hidden Gems From French Speaking Cinema
It's a fact that popularity doesn't define the quality of a movie. There are movies that are big hits in their country but don't make that impact when they cross borders.
This list is composed of some of the best hidden gems of French language chosen by the users of the IMDb Poll Board.
Which one do you consider the best?
List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls041617314/
Poll: https://www.imdb.com/poll/K3xbh0yNhJ4/
One detail:
The movies need to have less than 10,000 votes on IMDb and main language of the film need to be french.
Maximum 5 suggestions for each user.

Lucky Luke: Daisy Town (1971) - witty animated Western comedy
So long, Stooge (1983) - some kind of Neo(n)-Melville
In the Beginning (2009) - Hollywood would make a stupid comedy out of the premise, but this drama made me relate to the main character
The Measure of a Man (2015) - not the most entertaining movie, but one of the most important; a movie about dignity

Camille Claudel (French language; approx. 5,000 votes)
(I don't know if this meets your inclusion criteria: L'ondée -- It's a French film but it's silent so the French language isn't spoken. It's very "hidden:" it has 90 votes.)

I'm not sure if it's a mistake or intentional but the first sentence of the intro. is repeated. I think it's stronger if it's just stated once. I'd also suggest a few minor edits in the other sentence: they're below in bold just to make them easier to see.
