@mariojacobs Thanks, I like the suggestion and enjoyed the biopic, Walt Before Disney when it came out. But, I can't seem to find any writings directly attributable to him as a person nor can I find any as an illustrator. All the Walt Disney authored-titles seem to be attributable to the Walt Disney company or Walt Disney staff, rather than to Walt Disney as a individual. It is too bad. I would have liked to add this biopic to the answer pool, as their is no disputing that the Walt Disney company is a force in children's publishing.

Are you sure that Capote's In Cold Blood (nonfiction work) is YA??

@Tsarstepan No, I would agree Capote's 'In Cold Blood' is not. But, both cited the biopic films, 'Capote' and 'Infamous' are biographical about the trip Truman Capote and Harper Lee took together. The YA work I was referring to here is Harper Lee's 'To Kill A Mockingbird' and the YA author Harper Lee. Both movies deliver star power with Sandra Bullock and Catherine Keener in the role and discuss that book also.
