Tough choice between Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) and Batman Returns (1992). Both are season musts in my humble case.

I don't recall anything Christmassy about Gremlins 2, I think this poll is perfect face-off material, four strong options and the rest is pretty forgettable.

Well, apart from the first three films, there's no rating over 5.0, maybe you should just have an "other" option and mention all the others titles.

I agree with ElMo that this would be a great Face-Off. You could do ElMo's idea or either of these two:

1.) Using guidelines that only feature films (no TV movies), with at least a 6.0 IMDb score are included, use the first three films. (I'd suggest this one.)

2) Using guidelines that both feature films and TV movies are allowed, but only those with at least a 6.0 IMDb score, and use the first three plus #8.

Batman returns. Nolan was scared of including the Penguin in his trilogy. Burton and DeVito made it work so well.

Batman Returns. Highly disturbing portraits of Catwoman, Penguin, and new villain Max Shreck, and an implication than Batman may be equally disturbed with them.

And Penguin's plan is effectively a Christmas massacre, where he will have the entire population of Gotham City eliminated
