Live Poll: Face-Off: Batman - Guardian or Executioner?

Intro:

There is a controversy about the character of the superhero Batman. Old fans keep the opinion that Batman is not killing his delinquents, while mostly newer fans want to see blood. Even in the first Batman movie of Nolan with the supervillain Ducard (aka Ra's Al Ghul), it was made a subject of discussion.

When it comes to Batman, which camp are you - Camp Guardian or camp Executioner?

Tell us here.

Suggestion:

? - Let's see! ;D

I think he is seen killing in the comics. But, I think he shouldn't.

I know. And I think the same way. But I guess there are people around, who rather would like to see Batman acting like the Punisher. So I think it's interesting to find out. Don't you think so, too? ;D

I changed the title, the question and two of the options for to avoid being to crassly in words.

@Breumaster ,

Maybe you should replace the word delinquents with criminal foes.

I didn't expect that. At the moment it's a complete stalemate.

Undecided: 90 votes

Team Guardian: 85 votes

Team Executioner: 85 votes

I've never seen such a balanced result in that stadium.

@Breumaster ,

I also did not expect such a close result.

DC's poll 'Agatha Christie' Casting Face-Off: Stone vs Vikander is similarly close:

472 Emma Stone

472 Alicia Vikander

As are Paok's poll Face-Off: Kate vs Tauriel vs the Wasp

153 Kate
152 The Wasp
116 Tauriel

and SkyDeshpande's poll Woody Allen's Early Slapstick Comedies

75 Sleeper (1973)

74 Love and Death (1975)

63 Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex * But Were Afraid to Ask (1972)

52 Take the Money and Run (1969)

51 Bananas (1971)

I maintain two blog lists that show two different ways to determine which polls do not have a clear choice:

By Contention
Uses the formula:
V1/VT - 1/N

Where:
V1 - Number of votes for the first choice.
VT - Total number of choices
N - Number of choices

The values range from 0 to 1. When the value is zero the votes are evenly distributed between the choices. When the value is one, only the first choice has votes.

For your poll:

V1 = 90

VT = 260

N = 3

V1/VT - 1/N = 90/260 - 1/3 = 0.0128

Which places your poll as the second most contentious poll using this metric.

Hotly Contested
Uses the ratio of the top two choices in a poll (V1/V2). The values range from 1 to infinity. When that ratio is one the poll is hotly contested between the top two choices.

Where:
V1 - Number of votes for the first choice.
V2 - Number of votes for the second choice.

For your poll:

V1 = 90

V2 = 85

V1/V2 = 90/85 = 1.0588

Which places your poll as the 62nd hotly contest poll.
