Those older generation polls no longer apply given they don't have any active discussion threads. As far as I'm concerned, we started at ground zero when the format of the IMDb poll changed into the current poll system.

The Simian Flu and Bone-itis are butting heads. I think I'll go with The Simian Flu though.

Thanks for the picks, personally I don't know which is worse.  The Ghost Sickness from Supernatural would be terrible (being scared of literally everything until you die of a heart attack after a few days).

NDbportmanfan 1,

I know you are at your limit, but The Andromeda Strain (1971) is a significant omission from your list.
The fictional disease is The Andromeda Strain.

A group of scientists investigate a deadly new alien virus before it can spread.

I would replace: Batman & Robin (1997)

Added, switched out the lesser Doctor Who disease.

How did you figure this list of options?  As for my vote?  I'll choose the one with the quickest, most efficient and highest body count.
SPOILERS!

Looks like Doctor Who stole the fundamentals of Bliss from Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake.

Dishonorable mention to TS-19 whereas EVERYONE on the planet is infected with the disease whereas even natural death turns the victim into a zombie.  But you can theoretically die of a ripe ole age if you remain healthy and zombie bite free.

Also going to rule out the nonpandemic scourges like Nerve Attenuation Syndrome.

Wikipedia descriptions as well as what I have seen. I also tried to avoid putting too many duplicate entries from the previous poll.

It was in a previous poll, and I didn't to use too many of the same options.
