Just curious. Do you think it should have been nominated for something? If so... what category?

A category that does not exist — Best Choreography.

JK, I don't care about oscar. I'm just saying John Wick 3 is one of my favorite 2019 movies.

I would remove I Am Mother, Someone Great, Togo and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. They are 2019 films but neither of them complied with the Academy rules and they were not in the list of 344 eligible films.
Even if they were perfect it was impossible to have them nominated.

High rated films with at least 7,000 votes that comply with your rating rules and were actually eligible are:

FYC: Apollo 11 (Was the big favourite for Documentary and a box office hit for the genre)
Hotel Mumbai (It's 2018, but it was eligible for this Oscar).
The Last Black Man in San Francisco
Monos
The Nightingale
Fyre
Paddleton
Ying
The Great Hack
Knock Down the House
Brittany Runs a Marathon

Wild Rose (was in the shortlist for song)
Just Mercy
doesn't have much votes, but I have seen Jammie Foxx named as a snubbed candidate.

Pibby,

'Richard Jewels' removed.

Gigi,

'Above 60 Metascore' was the criteria. So, I added 'Queen & Slim'.

60+ Metascore (Green) indicates mostly positive remarks where 40-60 range (Yellow) indicates mixed or average remake.

'Glass' has Metascore 43, hence doesn't qualify.

I don't know whether I hate or love to be bold and stubborn in things like that, but if that movie don't qualify with Metascore, then Metascore does not qualify with me.

Then again, I practically never trust ratings. The only way to find out if you'd like or love the movie is to watch it.

'Good poll and list, Dibby.

FYC: Waves:  Metascore: 81, IMDb rating: 8.0, on Metacritic's list of films on most critics' top ten lists, one of the National Board of Review's Ten Best of 2019, and my favorite film of the year : )

Hi Suzy,

Thanks for your suggestions.

I have added 'Apollo 11'.

I was looking for titles with at least 5,000 votes, as there are so many of them having 6/10 rating with 60+ Metascore.
