You seem to have missed The Grapes of Wrath at 23.

And the year of the list was 2007 not 2008.

I quite remember when the list came out in 2008, but maybe the voting process started in 2007, anyway, I changed the year and thanks for the typo... I wanted to get it to 35 but I find 25 a cooler number...

This poll is useless without "The Birth of the Nation", long considered the best American film by AFI.

The original Top 100 list included The Birth of a Nation, but it was replaced by Intolerance in the second (the one I worked on)... I agree Birth, for all the elements that makes it outrageously dated and dangerous for the weak mind, is a milestone in every cinematic aspect, the most important film before Citizen Kane (chronologically speaking)
