IMDb Poll Thread Close / Archive / Delete Requests

IMDb Poll Board Members,

If you have any poll suggestion threads on Get Satisfaction that you want to delete but can't because of GS rules, please post the URL of that thread here. Our Get Satisfaction Champions with admin rights will delete the thread for you subject to the ground rules posted below.

When you are mentioning the thread, please provide the following documents:

1. The URL of the thread.

2. The reason why you want to delete it.

Ground rules

1. A thread will only be deleted if it violates IMDb and Get Satisfaction's (GS) terms and conditions or is a request by the original poster to delete one of their threads.
2. Violation of terms and condition include spam and inappropriate content. Generally GS's spam and content filters identify spam and inappropriate content.
3. At this time these are the only requests from original authors that will be honored: duplicate threads, duplicate suggestions, the poll suggestion is no longer relevant, there is little or no interest in the poll, or personal information was posted.
4. Requests will be reviewed and may be denied.
5. Threads will generally be archived instead of deleted when there are responses and so long as the thread does not violate IMDb and Get Satisfaction's (GS) terms and conditions.
6. These ground rules will be updated as appropriate.
7. Mass deletion requests will not be honored.
8. Updating the original post in a thread may be more appropriate than deleting a thread.
9. The author of a post should be able to edit or delete a post if there are no replies, likes or follows.
