If You Could Impersonate One Actor Perfectly Who Would It Be

Most of us dream of having a party piece where we could imitate Arnold Schwarzenegger spot on, but taking Arnie out of the equation, if you could do any actor's voice perfectly including physical mannerisms, who would you like to do spot on from this list?

There are so many great characters in hollywood perfect for imitating, but I really am torn between a lot of them. But I was only allowed to be able to do 1 impersonation perfectly, I would probably choose Christopher Walken.

I'd kill to be able to do impressions. I almost included Marlon Brando purely because of the Godfather, but for me, his best role was in Apocolypse Now. America had some cracking voice actors over the years or in particular Looney Tunes did. The only voice I can do is slipping into my broad Yorkshire accent when I'm being lazy or speak with others with a broad accent.

I've been able to do a few over the years. It's a bit taboo for a white man to do Asian or black accents now in England, so no chance of me doing Pakistani again. French I'm not bad at, and as daft as it sounds, the more arrogant I make my voice sound, the better it comes across. West country is brilliant (Cornwall/Bristol), think of John Pertwee, he played Worzel Gummidge. I've not done that accent for years, but used to work with someone from that part of England. I can do a couple of Scottish/Irish phrases, but just don't ask me what parts they are from. If you have a keen ear, you can tell whereabouts in Scotland someone is from. I think best English accent I like to do is West Country, or maybe even South Yorkshire, Barnsley to be more precise (I'm from West Yorkshire). I probably should move to America and get a job in TV and just speak in a very broad Yorkshire accent all the time lol.

Oh, Brando has been added.

I was thinking of Daniel Day Lewis, he's played some very good parts over the years, just wish he makes more films.

Do I have to change sex or will there be a list for females?

Or, since women are actors too, how about adding women to your list?

Katherine Hepburn, Diane Keaton, Jimmy Stewart, Jack Nicholson, Woody Allen, and James Earl Jones are the actors who immediately come to mind because they have such unique delivery and mannerisms. Some other distinctive actors are below.

FYC:

Diane Keaton
Katherine Hepburn
Julia Roberts (laugh especially)
Winona Ryder
Judy Dench
Samuel L. Jackson
Denzel Washinton
Tom Hanks
Sean Connery
Woody Allen
James Earl Jones
Madonna
Carol Burnett
Betty White
Lily Tomlin
Wanda Sykes
Kristen Schaal
Jon Stewart
Lia Kudrow

Oh, and Sean Penn.

Those are great!
The list already has 28 names; probably be better to just do a separate poll for women.  Also Fran Drescher would have to be on that one.  xD

Oh yeah, Fran Drescher would have to be on that list. : )

The only men that I suggested who aren't on the list are Woody Allen, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Jon Stewart, and Sean Penn.

Of the current list: I guess Nic Cage.  I can do the "Is it a shark or something?" line from Wicker Man.  xD
I can also do a pretty good Vermont-Maine cab driver accent... "Ya can't get thea from hea!"

Hi Commodore Boz,

I recommend breaking up your question into two shorter sentences.

Most of us dream of having a party piece where we could imitate Arnold Schwarzenegger spot on. Taking Arnie out of the equation, if you could do any actor's voice perfectly including physical mannerisms, who would you like to do spot on from this list?

Hi  (do you prefer Commodore or Boz or both?)

Could you also add a question mark at the end of the title since it's in question form? Thank you! : )
