Not receiving any notifications from the app

I do not receive any notifications since 4 months ago and i tried everything including to reinstall the app and check the notifications settings

Hi,

To further help investigate, could you check the following items

On your device, under Settings -> Notifications -> IMDb:
- Allow Notifications toggle switch is on
- One or more alerts (Lock Screen, Notification Center and/or Banners) is checked


Within the IMDb app under You -> Notifications (towards the bottom):
- One or more notifications such as "Featured Trailers" or "Trending Now" is toggled on

If you could let us know which notifications you subscribe to, that would also be helpful.

Hi,

Thanks for providing us that information. As a next step, here's what we suggest you try:

- In the IMDb app, turn all the toggle switches in Notification off
- The settings, turn the main notification switch off (at the top)
- Restart your phone
- In settings, turn the main notification switch back on
- In the IMDb app, turn all the toggle switches back on

Hi,

The last thing to try would be to delete the IMDb App (as well as the IMDb Pro app if you have that installed), restart your phone and re-install it/them.

On your first launch, you should be prompted to authorize IMDb to send you notifications, so make sure to accept that prompt. That should re-register your device to receive notifications.

Already did it, even deleting all my phone content and recover by the icloud backup and it and not including the iMDB app on the icloud backup. Please I need a solution.

Hi Moska,

Can you also confirm that the background app refresh settings for IMDb are enabled on your device? 
Settings > General > Background App Refresh
