Network error

Every time I try to view a TV show or movie in the app, it tells me there’s a network error, and won’t give me information such as a summary, the name and release date, or allow me to add a movie to my watchlist. This has been going on for months now, and I tried to delete and reinstall the app as well as clear the cache but nothing has fixed it.

Hi, vnc_kids. Welcome to the forum of/for the IMDb Community! So, you've cleared the relevant cache, and deleted and reinstalled IMDb App for the device you are operating, right, but is there any VPN software or ad-blocking software running on device whenever you encounter the error message? The IMDb technical support team may be better able to solve the problem at hand if you inform of (1) what model of the device is, (2) what the version of the operating system is and (3) what the version and build numbers of the IMDb App installed are. Your continued feedback shall be greatly appreciated.

As @jeorj_euler noted, can you confirm that you're receiving the Network Error with all ad-blockers and VPN software disabled?

@jeorj_euler I hadn’t realized that an ad-blocker could cause me to have network errors on other apps, this actually solved my problem with another app as well! Thank you so much for your help, I felt like I was going crazy.
