notifications
ever since I switched from Android 8 to 10 and then 11 I haven't received a single notification anymore, I liked getting notifications about new trailers to watch because otherwise I always forget to manually open the app and check out new trailers every few days

If you have confirmed that the Notifications settings within the IMDb app are properly updated - please check your device's notification settings. You may need to adjust your settings for the IMDb app notifications within your device settings.

sure.. the thing is that, as i said in my original post and mentioned in my previous reply, the issue has spanned through a few devices, several os versions and i guess many app versions.. even my op was not made when the issue was 'fresh', it had been going on for months by then and i was already tired of it.. the last device and os on which i got trailer notifications was the lg g6 running android 8 (oreo), i never used android 9 pie because (as said in the op) i switched directly from 8 to 10 with a custom rom on the xiaomi note 5 pro and then got a google pixel 4a that came with 10 but soon got updated to android 11 and now 12 a few months ago.. all of which have seen the issue persisting, and my partner with a xiaomi note 9 s does not get any trailer notifications either (idk which os or app version he has, i think he's on android 11)
