Change from black background and white font?

Reading white text with a black background really hurts my eyes. Is there a way to change the app to display black font on a white background? I'm using the Android app on a Samsung Galaxy if that matters.

Hello,

I hope you are well at this time.  Currently I can see your request for help in black text on a white background.  I can only imagine that for some pages a black background would imply that you must select among menu items quickly.  Sometimes, on any entertainment portal, advertising can creep in.  However on the more focused content for filmmakers and such like where there is a lot of documentation, the white backgrounds are more accessible.  I hope that helps.

Thanks for your response. I am just a user of the app using the Android version of the IMDB app and it seems to default to black background and white font. Is there any way to change this?

Hey you @volcarguy ,

This is super easy and quick!

Just go to “you” tab > Gear icon on top right >Display > App theme.

(That's it.
I told you it was easy. :D )

Thank You!!! This is exactly what I was looking for. I played with the app for so long but still couldn't get it figured out.
