Remove ads from the app!

Can we have an ad-free option please? I'd happily pay to get rid of the irrelevant junk sliding onto the edge of my screen.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Create an ad free version of the IMDb app.

Add free version! Figure the price out IMDb, if it’s over 3 bucks count me out. You can still make add rev on the web site.

Guess it's time to switch to using an ad blocker plus Firefox (unlike Chrome on Android that can't have add-ons). Personally I like uBlock Origin. Open source, has lots of options and control but 'just works' as installed. Even have versions for Chrome too.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Too many ads - please just offer a paid app.

There are way too many ads in this app. It is nearly unusable. Please at least offer a paid version. The user experience seems very un-Amazon

I would also pay up to around $5 (one time fee) to remove ads from the app. It's certainly more money than you're currently making from me since I never click ads.

Yeah, totally! I mean, how come everything in the whole wide world isn't just free? I'm gonna tell all my friends, or rather not tell all my friends, and then you'll see!

What are you even talking about? This suggestion is to let people *pay* for the app.

Exactly! I want to pay for a better experience. Until then I'll carry on blocking as many ads in apps as I can.
