at the end of the movie, the guy finds out he's been in a "game" by finding himself on a stage & people applauding. Similar plot to"theGame"

Thank you. I checked it out, but that's not it. It's driving me crazy!

yes, it was and I thank you. I have no idea who played the guy and I can't even remember the whole plot I just know that he didn't know he was going thru some kind of thing that was set up until they opened up these curtains and there was an audience just clapping wildly for him. The movie "Rebirth" made me think of it because it's along the same lines. I've Google the movie I'm trying to think of every way I know and just can't find it. Very frustrating because I usually remember movies/actors really well. It's hard getting old and losing your brain cells, LOL!

My sister won't play Trivial Pursuit with me unless she's on my team...so I remember a lot of stuff...just not the name of this movie or who was in it.

What is the movie you're describing? There's a Netflix Black Mirror episode that's phenomenal like this fyi.
-Peter in San Diego CA USA.

It's been a very long time since I watched it, but Anthony Quinn & Michael Caine's The Magus had a similar ending I think.
