Writing Credits
Currently imdB puts certain script editing roles in the writing category giving a writing credit to individuals who's input for scripts were structural and editing. For eg, Story Editor, which in television means the head writer/show runner but in film (where the credit doesn't technically exist) this credit means something totally different.
Imdbpro should get in touch with the Writers Guild and revise their credits for writers no?

Hello freddy1981,
I have checked the Writers guidelines on our Help site, according to our guidelines Staff writers, story editors, story coordinators, story supervisors and story consultants belong to the writers section.

This used to be how it was but imdb has changed this recently for some reason... Writers having their credits shared with editors isn't fair at all.
