Det hade sett knasigt ut om Aragorn hade tagit upp en Pepsiburk (2015)
New Title - Add
Plain Title: Det hade sett knasigt ut om Aragorn hade tagit upp en Pepsiburk
Type: film
Sub-Type: short
Status: released
Year: 2015
Source: ...a member of the cast/crew
Release Dates - Add
Country: Sweden
Date: 28 May 2015
Attribute: (Skövde, Sweden)
Release dates The first release date listed should be 28 April 2015, with the attribute (internet), since that is when the film was posted to YouTube.
For the 28 May 2015 release date in Sweden, the attribute should just be (Skövde), rather than (Skövde, Sweden); the country is already indicated and doesn't need to be repeated in the attribute.
Miscellaneous links Neither of these is a proper Miscellaneous Link; the Facebook link doesn't even mention the film. The YouTube link would probably be accepted by IMDb if it were a link to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DV8BBZY64o, the page where this film can actually be found, as opposed to the director's YouTube page where the film is mixed in with various other videos.
Job attributes At various places in the submission, you have job attributes given in Swedish. It's my understanding that even though the film's credits are in Swedish, the job titles are supposed to be submitted to IMDb in their English translations.
In the case of the director's attribute, (programledare), Google Translate says that means "TV host". (Sorry, I don't speak Swedish.) Even though Eddie Wallin is both the host of this documentary and the director, being the host is not a proper attribute or job title for the director. They are two separate occupations which should get listed separately in the submission.
Budget You only have a currency listed for the budget, not an amount. If you are going to submit a budget, you need both a currency and an amount.
Distributor Is it correct to say that Västerhöjd Gymnasium is a school, and this film was made for a class at the school? And is the 28 May 2015 screening a screening at the school for the students and/or faculty? If so, I don't think that the school should be listed as a distributor of this film. See http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/distributors#acceptable for what counts as a distributor.
Character names The formatting of the character names should be "Himself - Host" or "Herself - Respondent", using a hyphen rather than a slash between the words. Using a slash implies that the person was playing two characters -- themself, and a host or respondent -- instead of themself with a description of their role within the film.
Archive footage cast I don't think that the archive footage cast actually qualifies for Cast listings here. See http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/archive_footage -- I don't think that any of those criteria apply to this film.
Instead of listing the people in the archive footage as cast members, you should include Movie Connections to indicate that this film features "Glee", "30 Rock", "Modern Family", and the other productions which have excerpts included.
Sound mix I don't know what the attribute (phone) is supposed to refer to here, but I do know that no other film listed in IMDb currently uses that attribute for its sound mix. My guess is that either the attribute is not needed or something else should be listed for the attribute.
Keywords You should also include the keyword product-placement, given that the entire movie is about that.
Alternate title I recommend using a different attribute for "Denna. ännu högre ljud" instead of (short title). A short title would usually contain some of the words from the full title -- for example, the short title of Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood is Don't Be a Menace.
Despite all the suggestions I have made here, I'm not really sure why the film did not get accepted when you first submitted it. IMDb has been accepting titles more easily recently than they used to, so I don't know exactly what the problem is. Nevertheless, you may want to re-submit the film, taking these corrections into account.
I was able to review your most recent title submission (150515-114901-019000) and noted that it is currently processing.
With regard to your earlier title submissions, they weren't accepted due to a lack of supporting evidence.
There was not enough evidence provided for us to approve it for publication.
To help us verify the existence of this title, you will need to resubmit it with additional information.
Specifically, we are looking for one of the following:
In the "Miscellaneous Link" section of the new title submission form, add links to third party sites detailing the production.
In the "Explanation for missing information" box at the top
of the new title contribution form, add additional information detailing
your case for your title to be listed on IMDb.
My latest attemt at contributing the title was estimatted to be processesed the 18th of may and it still says that so i'm wondering how much longer i must wait.
I was able to review both submissions, your title submission from May 15th (150515-114901-019000) needed further review, your most recent submission from May 21 (150521-082808-458000) is currently pending, the expected date for this new submission is May 22nd, so please keep an eye on this submission by clicking on the "Track Contribution" button within your additions History.
It didn't get accepted, It seems that you guys at imdb are pissed at me for some reason since nothing i do is enough. Tell me how i get accepted please. I have done what others have suggested over and over again but it is never enough. I have already filled out the fields they say i have to fill out. And now when i look at the page again there i no "explain missing information" option there anymore!
However, my requests for such raising of standards have not been accepted by IMDb, at least not yet. See, for example, the comments by k_luifje and myself in the thread at http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000042/nest/243141164. As that thread indicates, IMDb has accepted two home videos posted to YouTube, Nauru 1973 and Nauru 1998, neither of which has any known cast or crew nor any media coverage nor any Miscellaneous Links besides their own YouTube pages.
By contrast, the film you worked on, Det hade sett knasigt ut om Aragorn hade tagit upp en Pepsiburk, at least has proper credits, so I would say it's somewhat more deserving of a listing than the Nauru home movies.
Basically, I would like IMDb to adopt a fairly consistent standard. (I realize that some judgment calls and exceptions will be necessary, though.) Is IMDb accepting anything with titles and credits that gets posted to YouTube? If so, they ought to accept your film too. I personally would prefer IMDb to use a tougher standard than that, but I'm not aware that they are using a tougher standard currently.
I whould like to say that it is not just "another youtube video" but a fully screened film in the theater yes, it was not paid for, commercially i mean, but as a "look i made legitimate short movie here and it will be available through youtube" just like the power rangers fan film is available on facebook. It was kind of a film-festival but with other artforms as well.
Jonathan: Can you provide a link to a web page which describes or announces the screening in a theater? Depending on what the web page says, that might be a good Miscellaneous Link, which could help get the film listed.
Jonathan: In that case, I think you will probably have to wait for Michelle or another staffer to come back and advise you. We're currently in a three-day weekend in the United States, where much of the staff who respond here are based, so you might not get a response until three days from now or later.
I see that your second title submission for "Det hade sett knasigt ut om Aragorn hade tagit upp en Pepsiburk" was marked with a "Needs Attention" status and you submitted a third title submission on May 22nd that is currently pending.
I have reached out to our title editors directly to take a look at your submissions and clarify the specific data they are seeking to verify the title. When I hear back from them (likely in the next few days) I will post the information here.

Release dates
The first release date listed should be 28 April 2015, with the attribute (internet), since that is when the film was posted to YouTube.
For the 28 May 2015 release date in Sweden, the attribute should just be (Skövde), rather than (Skövde, Sweden); the country is already indicated and doesn't need to be repeated in the attribute.
Miscellaneous links
Neither of these is a proper Miscellaneous Link; the Facebook link doesn't even mention the film. The YouTube link would probably be accepted by IMDb if it were a link to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DV8BBZY64o, the page where this film can actually be found, as opposed to the director's YouTube page where the film is mixed in with various other videos.
Job attributes
At various places in the submission, you have job attributes given in Swedish.
Budget
You only have a currency listed for the budget, not an amount. If you are going to submit a budget, you need both a currency and an amount.
Official site
Again, you have the wrong YouTube link provided; use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DV8BBZY64o for the film itself, not a link to the director's channel.
Distributor
Is it correct to say that Västerhöjd Gymnasium is a school, and this film was made for a class at the school? And is the 28 May 2015 screening a screening at the school for the students and/or faculty? If so, I don't think that the school should be listed as a distributor of this film. See http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/distributors#acceptable for what counts as a distributor.
To be continued ...

I have been calling, on and off for the last two years, for IMDb to raise its standards and not just accept anything that anyone posts on YouTube as a film to get listed in the database. (See https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/guide_for_submitting_online_videos and http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000042/nest/213240313.)
However, my requests for such raising of standards have not been accepted by IMDb, at least not yet. Looking at the submission the YouTube link you submitted does not match the title of your submission and we therefore cannot verify its existence.
The title being submitted was:
Det hade sett knasigt ut om Aragorn hade tagit upp en Pepsiburk
The Youtube Video was:
En kvalitativ forskning om Produktplacering
Do you have another link which helps support this title?
