Why does Kermit the Frog have a name page

I just noticed that Kermit the Frog has a name page. Shouldn't these credits be listed under the performer that performed and voiced the character?

Yes. But IMDb probably has some different ideas about this.

Hi Adrian -

To clarify, animals and inanimate objects (i.e., Wilson the Volleyball, Kermit the Frog) can be listed on the site with a name page as an actor/actress if they appear in title credits as cast members on a title.

Let us know if yo uhave further questions!

Kermit is none of those. He's a puppet. Any time he appears, he has a puppeteer and a voice. He should not have a name page. These appearance need to move to the performer's page.

I didn't look through all the Kermit the Frog credits but the one I was watching, he is not credited that way. In the movie Follow that Bird, Jim Henson is credited as Kermit but there is an uncredited appearance for Kermit the Frog. That's just wrong.

All of Kermit the Frog credit needs to be moved to the actual performer who performed Kermit the Frog.
