Why do the character names not appear in this trivia item?
I created a trivia item at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5218252/trivia?item=tr2942473.
When I look at the item on IMDb app for iOS, I can see the linked character names (underlined in blue).

On the desktop site, however, those three character names are omitted (also indicated in blue).

The names are also absent from the mobile site.
I formatted the links in this style: [link=ch#######] on the iOS app.

and there is "currently no" supported way to link character names in trivia.
(As I said, though, I could be wrong.)

Even editing trivia items that contain links that I've created with qv formatting switch to the bracketed links when editing on mobile.
The [link=#####] format is eminently easier and the only plausible format for mobile, so why not adopt that formatting for all platforms. It's clear that dueling formatting is a pain for IMDb's developers anyway, not to mention its users.
