Why are reviews shown in multiples? 2nd:Why are yes/no on reviews saved
The multiples happening is a relatively new problem (last year or so, I've been a IMDB user since 1993)
When reading user reviews, I have been reporting duplicate entries, but I've come to realise/assume that the multiple identical reviews are NOT duplicate entries, but glitches in IMDB interface, that happen when we click "Load more", and then the ones we've already yes/no'd to show up again, without our yes/no, as if it was a unique comment.
So annoying to be reading reviews, and be shown the same ones over and over again.
A secondary part of the problem is that my yes/no on "usefulness" of the review is not saved. So when I reload the page (as frequently happens with bad connections), I have to start all over again. This is ridiculous, when we yes/no the reviews, it should remain visible!
I think these two closely related problems might be in a same coding region.

Thanks for reporting, I was able to replicate this issue and have filed a ticket for the appropriate team to investigate. Once I have an update on the status I will post those details here.

But the description did clarify that point.
Thanks Michelle for looking into both.

I'm just circling back here with an update and a request for some further information.
Concerning the issue you reported with the "Yes/No" votes not being Saved when clicking the "Load More" button, unfortunately our tech team was unable to replicate this occurrence. Could you clarify which recent title you were looking at and how many times you hit the 'Load More' button before you saw duplicate reviews?
The second issue reported concerning the "Yes/No" votes on the helpfulness section, this is by design and is not a bug. Unfortunately, this is due to a timing issue within our systems, a vote is only counted once but the update is not immediately made live on the site.

1-Go to user reviews
2-Sort by rating
3-View ratings of 10 first page
4-Load more
5-View ratings of 10 on second page
6-Notice that the review titled: Great movie, the critics are worthless yet again. is there twice, but the second time it did not have my yes/no of it, as if I had not seen it before.
This happens WAY too often for them to be duplicate entries. It rather seems like a glitch with the "Load More" feature.
The worthy way to handle multiple pages of content is not "Load More" but ACTUAL page numbers with an ACTUAL option to load all.
I suspect the "Load more" approach is at its core faulty, either by mistake, or on purpose.

Here's another example of this happening.
- Uncut Gems
- Reviews
- Filter by 10 star rating
- Load more a dozen times
Notice on these two pics how the review titled P U R E G E M, which I answered the yes/no link regarding usefulness, shows up again, a few reviews down, flanked by one different and one same review.
When keeping it real goes wrong (I rated review)
P U R E G E M (I rated review)
Why the hate? (I rated review)
When keeping it real goes wrong(I re-rated review, noticing the repeat too late)
P U R E G E M (stopped rating when noticed the repeat
Excellent movie (not rated)
This movie has over 600 reviews, I'm not obviously going to read each one, but the 30-40 I do put time in to read, I want them to not be the system glitching at me and conning me into reading the same ones over and over again.
