Whispers (2015) Over 90 OBVIOUS Fake Reviews
As the title says, this film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1986202/reviews has over 90 glaringly obvious fake reviews and the rest are people complaining about the fake reviews, and yet as soon as a person writes a review saying so, the creators come and post TWO (I am being 100% serious) MORE fake reviews. The film is only available on DVD for $25 and there are several fake reviews that mention this and where you can get it, and through Redbox rentals for $2 a day, so in essence the filmmakers are using IMDB as a shill site to basically con people into seeing their disaster of a film. The more this happens, the more IMDB loses credibility. How does one report this and will anything be done about it? Here is a link to a trailer on YouTube where people are discussing the fake reviews as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMkdBSRQPgc. And when I say it is glaring, obvious fakes, well, you should check it out.

In any case, I'm done. I brought it to your attention if you would like to investigate. If not, it really makes no difference to me other than I have been a member of IMDB since I was around 13 and it's a shame to me to see this happening. You guys took a stand against the trolls and closed your forums / messaging down, but somehow for a site this huge, the proper contingencies and measures to maintain the integrity of IMDB have not been set in place or are not working. Have a good one.

IMDb's reaction to this mockery is going to affect how it is perceived. I'm at the point where I think the site risk only being a marketing tool for studios and if that's the case, I'm not going to read it.
