Uncredited added to my page incorrectly

I have had an IMDB page since 2009. Never had a problem until I looked yesterday and 'uncredited' has been added to almost every credit. Credits that were added to my IMDB page by the production companies and that I had an onscreen credit for.

The response from IMDB is that I need to provide a screenshot of an onscreen credit, something that is impossible to provide for British TV shows that aired almost 10 years ago. I have also noticed that 'uncredited' has been added to films that haven't even been released yet!!

It's happened to a number of my colleagues but not others. We all work in different departments and are multiple job grades. None of us can understand why we we are suddenly being asked to provide proof of an onscreen credit but others are not. IMDB, you pride yourself in not removing factually correct information but you have made a huge error here across many, many pages. I for one am extremely mortified that someone can now look me up and see uncredited next to everything when it's just not true.

It's funny because on many of the jobs you have marked me as uncredited, you have left countless SA's who have just added their names at the end of the films.

A good example is here on the tv show 24 Hours in Police Custody where I was a filming assistant. I received an onscreen credit, yet, I am the only person on that entire episode that has been re-listed as 'uncredited'. It makes absolutely no sense and the tv show is not available in the UK anymore so I am unable to provide proof. Why has only my name been re-listed like this? And do you not realise how potentially damaging this is to my credibility when people look me up for work?

Hi,

I found that episode online and can see you were indeed credited.

I guess it is safe to say you were aslo credited for the other episodes of that show. It is odd that those credits were changed when other shows remina intact as actual credits.

The Trust TV show. I doubt you were credited for your stand-in work but may have been credited for your work as a runner. Your credits for that show should ve revised to reflect the fact that you had two roles so that your name page will read (runner) (stand-in).

List the other credits that you refer to on which you were actually credited but are now recorded as being uncredited. You will receive further assistance from forum members that way.

Hi, Alex Hayes. Wow. Unfortunate. Well, you should be thankful that the items of your filmography were not deleted altogether or, worse yet, the entire page about you taken offline. The only thing the IMDb Community can do to help you is try to find copies of those episodes. We'll see how it goes. Good luck to all.

Well, it sounds as though the IMDb company (or Elizabeth in particular) has been helpful in this particular matter. Great. All is well that ends well.

This has also happened to me. And a lot of the other members of the Trust crew. Will they all be being updated?

I think Ryan posted here as he worked on Trust with Alexandra and this has affected his credits on that show.
