The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song

This PBS special aired over 2 nights. It is currently listed on IMDb as 2 episodes. However, it really seems like it should be listed as 4 episodes, each roughly an hour. When the second hours of the first night started airing, it shows new credits (and, at least, on my local PBS station had a mini-station break for fundraising). Should this be broken apart into 4 episodes?

Your point is well taken. The PBS site and the official site list it as two episodes. @Michelle can decide.

However, each hour has its own credits. It seems more sense to have it as 4 episodes instead of credits (that look nonsensical to me)

Name                                        attribute
Director 1                                  (hour 1)

Director 2                                  (hour 2)

@Michelle  @adrian makes a good point. Two episodes but they have additional credits for the second hour of each episode half way through.

Hi adrian & ben_hampel -

Thanks for providing all the details and screen grabs.  In this instance, as the network is displaying the series as two episodes and the episodes themselves are not clearly separated by a title card (even though there were credits in between), as per our policy, we will need to retain the two episodes as-is.

And yet, it leads to this absurdity of credits which have attributes to notate which hour they belong. This seems an absurd way to catalog things to me. It would be much better to show it as 4 hours where all the credits belong to that hour.
