Sprinklr is the pits!

Sprinklr is at it again and again, prohibiting Safari users from accessing the Data Issues & Policy Discussions page, EVEN FROM SIGNING IN!  I can do it on Crome, Foxfire and Opera, BUT NOT on Safari.  What does Sprinklr/IMDb have against Safari?  Is it a programming problem?  Or just ineptitude?  Ignorance?  Stupidity? What?

Please, IMDb, sever your association from Sprinklr.  They just "can't seem to get thier act together"!

Hi bradley_kent -

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues accessing the IMDb Community from your Safari browser.

Can you outline the exact issue you encountered here, such as the steps you took to access the community from your Safari browser and what blockers you faced?  I can then report the issue to the Sprinklr team to investigate.

Cheers!

@Michelle 404 error message.  This is a long standing, apparently ongoing problem with Sprinklr cookies and their inability to accommodate Safari.  (I think Safari is the most widely used browser in the world -- a view supported by Apple.) If you research this problem, it has been discussed in the past as other users have also encountered this issue.  The problem now:  There has been no resolution!

I just had this problem too - page load just hangs.

Safari 15.1 on MacOS Monterey 12.0.1.

Same old fix worked - delete the stored data for sprinklr and it works again.

I have also seen this problem with the Silk browser on a fairly old Amazon Fire tablet.

I was wondering if the sprinklr site gets updated from time to time in a way that makes the stored cookies/data incompatible with the new version and the error handling is not good enough to cope with previous version's data/cookies. Perhaps it depends on script features that differ between browsers and is not tested on a wide enough range.

That would account for it working on a browser that is not the one you normally use - no stored data/cookies to get in the way unless you are unlucky.

Why have Sprinklr and IMDb not solved this problem with the Safari browser.  This still happens sporadically and is very irritating.
