Someone keeps changing my movie release development status

I have no idea who, or WHY, but someone keeps changing my movie release development status. How do I stop them from doing this any more.

Well, for those of us who do not already know, what are the actual facts of the matter?

What do you mean "what are the facts of the matter"?

On my film project in development, someone keeps changing the development status to "filming" - when it's not. Those are the facts. If you can help or assist, great.

The extra little bit of information is appreciated. In addition, the IMDb staff may be needing to be made aware of the reference number of any submission involved. IMDb's submission reference numbers resemble a string like, for example, #231231-235959-999000. Nothing in IMDb system enables people to block other people from submitting most kind of updates commenced through the main submission interface. Is there anything else that can be disclosed about the situation?

Yes, why is someone changing my status? what does that profit or what is the reasoning? Where would I find the ref # btw? I would like to know WHO is changing this? Can I file a formal complaint as I have not given anyone permission to change it.

thanks!

See https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history or https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history please, for the records of the submissions made by you, dmf. The IMDb staff aren't going to disclose the identity of whoever else has been submitting edits to whichever IMDb title pages is being affected, and if evidence isn't on that particular contributor's side, then his or her future contributions upon the "production status" data type may be less likely to be approved. As for the complaint, IMDb customer service can be considered already in receipt of it as a matter of this thread having been created.

It's been changed twice now. There must be a way to have some SAFETY of my own production status against someone I can't even know who's doing this. If not, that is absurd.

sure thing.

@dmf Hi!

The status has been changed with evidence that there has actually been filming done (video sent it).

@Bethanny HI Bethany. There is no evidence when this is my project and I'M the one telling you my own movie is NOT in production. What disrespectful, unprofessional person is making my project into a stage it is not. In fact, some of my actors and actresses are FREAKING OUT because it's showing I'm filming - WHEN I'M NOT.

Any current footage is NOT the movie, it's the concept teaser only. The movie is NOT in production and has not been funded.

Please remove any regards of being in production. OR.... if you need me to submit something different, provide these steps, but it is not in "filming"

Who can I contact regarding escalating this if you are not able to assist.

@dmf Hi!

Since there is filmed footage and a released teaser trailer the status will remain as filming.

Thanks for understanding.
