Single/album covers with music videos?

Very much interested in that question and official position myself. I noticed that quite a few times and, while I'm far from opposing it, I am reluctant about doing it, although I did, once. I could not resist, image is the perfect fit: it crops ideally plus it actually depicts Mel Brooks in the same attire he wears in the video. Oh, and if you haven't seen the video, it's great. :) 

There are several rationales behind such choices of image. First one is perfectly logical: many CD singles and albums contain music videos as bonus tracks, so that makes cover art a legit box art for a music video release. Second one is the fact that one way or another music video and cover art are bundled as a master release, of sorts. For example, certain charts might show excerpts of the video in conjunction with cover art.
