Solved

Seinfeld

Someone added this episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13320570/

And then re-arranged episode numbers.

The thing is, person who added that episode even adds this trivia item acknowledging it was originally a single episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13320570/trivia?item=tr5865876

The user who made the changes may be uninformed about policies surrounding this situation but why the editors approve everything for such a classic show?

Anyway, things to do:

- False release date and running time needs to be deleted from tt13320570

- Then tt13320570 needs to be merged into tt0697738

- Then season 3 episode numbers from 17 onward needs to be arranged accordingly.

This is not even needed but, here is a trailer of the episode from 1992 confirming its original release: https://archive.org/details/seinfeld-hour-episode

Hi mbmb -

Thanks for confirming the information.  The episode merge and order number updates have now been made and the changes should be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

Hi mbmb -

Before cleaning the episode listings and order, just to confirm, the episode "The Boyfriend" originally aired two parts simultaneously (back-to-back) with no end credits separating them, is that correct?

@Michelle Yes, episode originally aired as one hour single episode, no seperation. Later seperated into two parts for syndication and reairings in different channels. That's in the trivia section of both pages. And original one part long episode can be found in DVD releases and also on some streaming services.
