Hi mbmb -

Apologies for the delay, I understand the frustration, especially when you have provided valid evidence to support the data update.  Upon digging in a little deeper, I can confirm that there was an internal technical issue involved with this submission which prevented the initial approval.

As the Release Date was correctly restored, the direct data issue is now resolved (as you already observed), in the meantime, I will highlight this use-case to the appropriate tech team for visibility and review of future processing improvements.

Thanks again for your patience!

Hi mbmb -

I have resubmitted the October 21, 2021 Release Date on your behalf for this episode title

In the meantime, if you have any online sources to help verify this release date, you are welcome to post it here and our staff can take a look.

Cheers!

@Michelle Thanks, it would be better if you reinstated the already approved but incorrectly deleted item but whatever works so thanks.

I don't understand why you are asking for "any online sources to help verify" when it's already provided?

@Michelle you could restore the item directly, you didn't, instead re-submitted.

you could approve the re-submission directly, you didn't, now a simple release date addition is stuck pending for days that would normally be approved within seconds. (and it's likely gonna be declined in the end)

not to mention the insult of asking "online sources to help verify" when it was already provided since the beginning.

this is unnecessarily frustrating.

This is finally solved. Can you please tell the editor who approved the deletion request against this release date to check in the future

1- if the thing that's about to be deleted was contributed with any evidence or explanation

2- what was the evidence provided and if the deletion request has any merit

3- require online sources to help verify from them instead

it annoys me so much when something i contributed with an evidence in the first place gets deleted blindly without any check by your editors.

@Michelle did you tell these to the editor who deleted my contribution without checking anything at all, that was contributed with evidence since the beginning?
