Rating before premiere should not be allowed

I have noticed that you can rate a movie that has not yet come out, and actually many of the movies have already an "adulterated" rating even before the premiere by users that have NOT watched the movie. You could do that any time anyway, but voting for a movie before the premiere is just so wrong.

Carlos,
Which titles in particular? We allow ratings after any screening... which includes limited engagements, international releases, festivals, etc. If you are seeing ratings for titles which have =never= screened... then we have a problem.

Then it makes sense. I noticed that for Southpaw, whose release date is late July. Thanks for the quick reply.

The live, TV, version of "Hairspray" (Dec 7, 2016) got 86 ratings before it was even finished! "I could only watch the first 5 minutes, but, it was marvy!" Ridiculous!!!!! I demand a recount!!!! ;)
