offensive review

Please can the following, extremely insensitive and offensive review of 'Three Girls' (BBC 2-part drama) be deleted...

The drama is factually based on true events, and the reviewer (texxas-1) is referring to abused children as "obese, violent, out of control thugs who were excluded from school and could probably make grown men cry."

If this is not deleted or reported, there is no respect from IMDB for the victims of this horrendous abuse.

The review reads:

Boring and Inaccurate17 May 2017 | by texxas-1 (London, United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I know they were trying to stay true to the story but at the end of the day it's still entertainment and should entertain. This was boring. All the actors were ugly, the actors who played the Asian men were ugly, old and looked like someones dad! The girls were dull and plain looking. The rape scene was not bleak and hard hitting like rape scenes usually are, it was goofy, badly acted and made me wanna laugh. The girls were portrayed as being saints when no doubt they were all obese, violent, out of control thugs who were excluded from school and could probably make grown men cry. Molly Windsor was way too soft and delicate to play the part but she was obviously chosen to make the victims look like innocent passers by. The term Muslim is referenced too, and the BBC pretend the be left wing but then go and make something like this? I think that's why lots of people hate the BBC for the reason that they are not genuine at all.

What about when your staff write disgusting, sexist reviews?

Hi Will,

Thanks for your reply and for removing it. There isn't a 'report' feature on the review - I have looked everywhere for it!

Unfortunately the reviewer re-posted the same review yesterday. I have attached a screenshot of it below.

Is there any way they can be notified as to why their horrible review has been removed this time?

Many thanks,
Izzy

Izzy,

The "Report this" link is usually in the grey line next to the "Was the above review useful to you?" feature. I'm not sure why you don't see this.

I have reported this review for you.

I want to know why the hell you guys (here at IMDb) get away with your own disgusting, sexist and gratuitous descriptions of movie reviews? Not to mention the spelling. For example 'White Girl' do you really need to say he put his D*^k in her mouth?! He did the Money Shot on her face and you can see the Cemen (spelt wrong) and she sucks his D*^k hard!! WTH? Have some respect for your site. No one wants to see that. It makes your site look lame. Grow up. Be proud of your writing .

I agree the spelling is not good and the choice of words could and should be more subtle, but did you notice the disclaimer at the top of www.imdb.com/title/tt4129870/parentalguide?
(note that I'm not happy with the fact that some areas of IMDb are not controlled by staffers, but I just wanted to point it out to you in case you missed it)
