I was unable to replicate the company credit submission issue you experienced. Can you try submitting the company credit again now and confirm if the update is now being properly submitted?
If not, post the details related to the update you are trying to make, including the exact steps you are taking and what company you are trying to add to what IMDb page.
I am getting this problem instead of the previous timeout problem when trying to check a fairly large update, and worse, when trying to save it (in case I get the problem).
I have twice had a "Save for later" fail in this way but the submission was saved and could be retrieved from the history which is perhaps safer than the resubmit strategy, but rather confusing because when I tried the browser reload on the error page and opted 'yes' to sending the form data again I got a second saved update despite that one failing too.
There were a few company credits included in the submission but there were 5 company credits and 123 crew credits as well as some unfinished cast credits I was still working on.
I'm sorry to hear that you recently experienced a failure when using the "Save for later" option. It;s possible these were stand-alone tech issues due to the system being overwhelmed, however, if this continues to happen, let us know and I will file a ticket for the applicable tech team to investigate further.
@Michelle I had the 'We're Sorry" failure loading submitted contribution
211206-200907-312000 (load) but no problems with a new contribution of about the same size 211215-211338-524000 (tracking) - I used Save for later at least twice on that one with no problem. Loading other previous contributions of around the same size as the one that failed worked without problems (from the next two days after the problem one).
Going back to try loading it again it failed with the "We're Sorry" message again but reloading the page straight away loaded it properly.
I will probably be doing another similar sized contribution tomorrow, I will let you know if the problem happens again.
